Toni Eberhart joined New Leaf Digital after ramping up her involvement as a volunteer at CoWorking Night. Prior to assuming her role as Executive Director, Toni supported technology startups and small businesses as a marketing professional with a passion for developing and executing strategic initiatives. She received a BSBA from the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. After graduation she worked in operations at the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, MD. In 2012 she relocated to Huntsville to support the U.S. Army 2nd Recruiting Brigade in public affairs. Since making it her adopted home, Toni has grown passionate about the evolution of a robust and dynamic innovation economy in Huntsville.
Secretary of the Board
Harrison Diamond was appointed by Mayor Tommy Battle as the City's Business Relations Officer. He serves as liaison to the business community and the Mayor’s GEO, Cyber, Energy, and Broadband initiatives, including efforts to attract Google to Huntsville. Harrison previously worked in economic development at the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County, where he worked on projects for Remington and Boeing. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama and University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Treasurer of the Board
Dick Reeves has been active in organizing entrepreneurial businesses since 1978, when he co-founded General Digital Industries, Inc., where he served variously as Chairman or CEO until its sale in 1989. He serves as Managing Partner of Angel Syndicates Central, which provides investment syndication services to angel groups in the southeastern US. He helped organize BizTech in 1997, served as its CEO from 2003-2008, and organized the Huntsville Angel Network in 2004. Today, Dick is CEO of The Foundry, a commercial software startup studio.
Michael Carroll is an Electrical and Software Engineer who is interested in robotics, computer vision, and machine learning. After graduating from Auburn University in 2010 with a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and in 2012 with a Master's in Electrical Engineering, Michael spent a year in Massachusetts working for MIT's Lincoln Library before returning to Huntsville. He was part of the formation of both CoWorking Night and 3210 and remains a big proponent of Huntsville's burgeoning startup community.
Andrew Hall graduated from UAH with a Bachelor's in Photography. His experience as a business owner has led him to consult as a creative director, designer, photographic imaging expert, business manager, marketing strategist, and an acquisition strategy advisor. Through practical projects at UAH, researching in England, living and traveling abroad, photographing internationally, documenting technical testing environments, and founding his own company, Andrew has honed his abilities as a diversely capable strategist living for the launch.
Mike Murdock cofounded Sirsi, which became the world's largest library management software company. Years later, Mike sold the company and has led a life of philanthropy ever since. In addition to serving on the board at New Leaf Digital, Mike is also the founder of Huntsville STEAM Works, a new hardware prototyping lab located at Lowe Mill.
